Spike Business Systems

Spike provides high quality tools which facilitate the complex task of efficiently and effectively managing Australian childcare services.

Spike was developed from best practise principles derived from the children's services sectors. Constant close consultation with these sectors has enabled Spike to be continually upgraded and enhanced to meet both, the needs of services, and the ever changing compliance requirements of government departments. The systems are compatible with all sectors including OSHC, LDC, IHC, FDC & OCC.

Current Childcare Software

Spike version 3 is our latest childcare management software, used by services that have already moved to the Australian Government's new CCMS system. Full migration support is available for users of previous Spike versions.

Built using the most powerful enterprise grade technologies available, it provides unprecedented technical and organisational flexibility to manage 1 or 100 services. For an overview of its advanced capabilities, see: features.

The most recent viewer is available online for Windows and Linux. An online demonstration database is available to connect to.

The latest version of Spike2 is 2.9j released in October 2007. This release is used for records management, by some non CCMS services and for accessing archives.
